SPONSOR A FURRY VALENTINE!
Keep the love, lose the litters! You can make Valentine's Day special for one of the dogs or cats who will be at Humane Ohio to be fixed the week of Valentine's Day (many of whom belong to low-income families or are shelter or rescue group animals getting fixed before they go up for adoption)! When you make a donation of $25 or more, we'll send a dog or cat home with a special treat or a new toy, and we'll put a Valentine on their cage with your name (and we'll send you a photo of your sponsored animal!).
The money raised from fundraisers like the Valentine's sponsorships helps cover the true, high cost of spay/neuter procedures and allows us to keep our prices low for the community. Your Valentine's sponsorship will give one of the animals in our care a special Valentine's toy or treat AND it will help us fix over 12,000 animals this year.
Make a secure, online donation of $25 or more by clicking on the link below. You'll be able to choose to sponsor a dog or a cat. If you are sponsoring an animal as a Valentine's gift for someone else, please be sure to provide the email address of the person we should notify of your special gift.
Happy Valentine's Day, and thank you for making it special for our furry valentines!

"BEAT THE HEAT" PROMOTION
The weather outside may be frightful, but for animal shelters and rescue groups, spring is just around the corner and the groups will become overwhelmed with requests to take in kittens. In an effort to prevent unwanted litters and reduce the number of cats and kittens being euthanized in shelters, Humane Ohio has planned a special "Beat the Heat" promotion for the month of February. We'll reduce our normal, low-cost price to spay female cats to $20!

This offer is available to Lucas and Wood County residents and is based on availability. Please call 419-266-5607 to schedule an appointment. You must mention the "Beat the Heat" promotion when scheduling.
Note to Wood County and Fulton Countyresidents: Transportation is available to/from Humane Ohio through the Wood County Humane Society and the Fulton County Humane Society. If you want to schedule a "Beat the Heat" appointment and reserve a spot on the transport for your cat(s), please call the Wood County Humane Society at 419-352-7339, or if you're in Fulton County, complete the "Beat the Heat" appointment form at fultonhumanesociety.com.
