HUGE CRAFT AND GIFT SHOW TO BENEFIT HUMANE OHIO
On Sunday, September 19th, People Who Care - a group of crafters and gift sellers who do shows to benefit local charities - will come together to present a huge craft and gift show at Gladieux Meadows (4880 Heatherdowns, Toledo) that will benefit Humane Ohio and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The show will take place from 10 am - 4 pm; admission and parking are free. To help the charities, there will be a silent ticket auction with great prizes for $1 per ticket and a pet food drive to benefit the Humane Ohio Pet Food Bank (non-perishable human food items will also be collected for the Salvation Army).

The Lucas County Board of Elections will be on hand to register voters and distribute absentee ballots, and show attendees can take the Don't Text and Drive Pledge in honor of Kim Smith, the Lucas County Deputy Sherriff who was killed in an auto accident this year. Other activities include balloons and facepainting for kids done by a local youth group. Come shop, win prizes, and support several great local charities! GIVE ME FIVE CAMPAIGN
give me five Many people doing just one small thing each can make a big difference! That's why we're launching a "Give Me Five" campaign! The goal of this campaign is to get at least 1,000 people to donate $5 each so that we can raise $5,000 or more for our Cody Fund. The Cody Fund helps with the cost of spay/neuter and minor medical issues at the time of the spay/neuter for those who can't afford it. At Humane Ohio, we refuse to let cost be a barrier to spay/neuter, and our Cody Fund means we don't have to.

Your $5 donation combined with your friend's $5, your neighbor's $5, and a stranger's $5, will ensure that Humane Ohio never has to turn anyone away regardless of their ability to pay.

Make your secure donation today!  Click and Pledge button
