Lisa Hochradel is the Financial and Outreach Manager who will provide financial oversight and accountability for the organization, manage outreach programs (like the Humane Ohio Pet Food Bank, tabling at off-site events and speaking engagements) and oversee the volunteer program. With a background in the accounting and insurance business, she brings 20 years of experience in customer service to Humane Ohio. She served as a volunteer at Humane Ohio Spay Days (before we had our own clinic) beginning in 2002.

Kim Minor, Ruthie Copeland, and Tina Lemmons all began their careers with Humane Ohio as volunteers for our monthly spay/neuter clinics and became employees when we opened the clinic in January 2006. All are registered veterinary technicians. Each studied at Stautzenberger College, and they - along with veterinary assistants Nikko Dick and Timi Taylor - bring a high level of skill and dedication to the clinic. They work together efficiently and seamlessly.

Kim Rewinkel is Humane Ohio's Office Manager. Kim handles most of Humane Ohio's clerical work, and keeps the office running smoothly. Kim has a background in customer service, and started with Humane Ohio as a volunteer in 2008.

Kymm DeRose is Humane Ohio's Customer Service Manager, and is experienced in both shelter and veterinary settings. Kymm controls the scheduling and works with both the public and our rescue partners. She has been working with Humane Ohio since 2007.

Christina Weyrick-Cooper and Jill Borkowski make up our development/marketing team. Each having years of professional experience that includes work within overpopulated animal shelters, they bring a strong level of responsibility in forwarding our mission and passion for the work they do.

Tammy Herman is our Free-Roaming Cat Coordinator and is overseeing our efforts to spay/neuter 2,600 free-roaming cats in Toledo's 43609 zip code. She has over 20 years experience in quality assurance for a locally based corporation, and previously ran the Humane Ohio Pet Food Bank as a volunteer.

Jennifer Albert is our volunteer Graphic Designer. She owns The Ad Lab, a full-service graphic design studio that specialized in strategic, creative solutions for businesses' unique and ever changing needs. She generously donates her time to do all of Humane Ohio's design work including branding, flyers, brochures, our newsletter and more. Please thank Jennifer for her very generous support of Humane Ohio by considering her for the design needs of your business. Visit labertising.com for more info and to view samples of her work, or e-mail marketing@humaneohio.org.

Dr Anderson

Dr. Holly Anderson (DVM) graduated from Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010 and received her bachelor's degree from Harvard University in 2006. She did an externship with Humane Alliance and has spent her free time volunteering in the spay/neuter field. She works five days a week for Humane Ohio.

"No other disease or condition of companion animals takes as many lives as euthanasia. In fact, no other disease comes close."   ~ Janet M. Scarlett, DVM, Ph.D, Cornell University.

This quote drives the staff of Humane Ohio because we recognize the key to saving lives is prevention through spay/neuter, which is the best defense against pet overpopulation. Humane Ohio focuses on prevention, not reaction.
