All spay/neuter surgeries are performed by our licensed veterinarians (DVMs) and all animals entrusted to Humane Ohio are attended to before and after spay/neuter surgery by licensed veterinary technicians. We also have a great team of trained veterinary assistants and administrative staff who help make it possible for us to spay/neuter over 11,000 animals a year!
Humane Ohio Veterinarians:
Dr. Holly Anderson (DVM) graduated from Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010 and received her bachelor's degree from Harvard University in 2006. She did an externship with Humane Alliance and has spent her free time volunteering in the spay/neuter field. She works five days a week for Humane Ohio.
Dr. Amy Muhlenkamp (DVM) graduated from Ohio State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 and received her bachelor's degree from the University of Findlay in 1998. She has worked in private veterinary practice and volunteered as a shelter veterinarian. She works two days a week for Humane Ohio.
